Championship Qualification Info


** YOUTH DIVISION INFO **

Each Individual Trail event also has a Youth Division for anglers 15 years of age or younger. There is no entry fee for the Youth Division; however they must be a member of C.A.B.A. in order to participate.
The top finisher at each event will receive
gift card(s) valued at $50.00 and plaque.
The Youth Division Anglers Championship will be held in conjunction with the Individual Trail Championship. The top 5 Youth Division Anglers Championship Tournament Awards are:

1st place: $500.00 in various gift cards and plaque

2nd place: portable DVD player and plaque

3rd place: bicycle and plaque

4th & 5th places: tackle packs and plaques.


* Youth Division Rules *

1. Youth Division Anglers must 15 years or under.
2. Adult Individual Trail Contestants (Coaches) may bring as many as two Youth Division Anglers to the Individual Trail Tournament to compete.
3. Youth Division Anglers may keep one fish each for weigh in and the largest bass wins.
4. Youth Division Anglers may not assist Coaches in landing of fish or operating and/or maneuvering the boat during tournament hours.
5. Coaches may assist Youth Division Angler with a landing net.
6. Youth Division Anglers must follow all rules observed by their Coaches in the Individual Trail.
7. Youth Division Anglers who have participated in at least one tournament during the year will automatically qualify for the Youth Division Anglers Championship regardless of their age at the Championship. Coaches do not have to be qualified for the Individual Championship to Coach a Youth Division Angler at the Championship.
