INDIVIDUAL TRAIL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION & POINT DISTRIBUTION $25.00 membership per person (including Youth division) is required for all CHAMPIONSHIP qualifying events Each participant must have fished at least 4 of 6 events to be considered for championship qualification. Qualification for the Individual CHAMPIONSHIP will be determined as follows: 1. Any participant that fishes all events will automatically qualify for the CHAMPIONSHIP. 2. The top 50% point leaders after 6 events (after those participants from option 1 have been removed) will qualify for the CHAMPIONSHIP. 3. (After those participants from options 1 & 2 have been removed) up to 5 wildcard participants will also qualify, provided each participant has fished the required 4 of 6 events. The top 5 point finishers after the final event will determine wild card status. An entry fee of $100.00 per adult participant will be required to compete in the CHAMPIONSHIP. No entry fee is required for youth participation.
THE FOLLOWING POINT SYSTEM WILL APPLY TO ALL C.A.B.A. INDIVIDUAL TRAIL EVENTS CHAMPIONSHIP qualification will be based on a points and pounds format 1st place in each qualifying event will receive 100 points + their stringer weight. 2nd place will receive 99 points + their stringer weight, and so on. Points will drop by 1 for each place through the last participant to weigh fish. Any participant that participates in an event but does not weigh fish, will receive show points equivalent to 1 point less than the last participant to weigh fish. |
